Say hi to George! Converted in 2021, George is a pristine T5.1 campervan with full side conversion, double swivel seats, rock and roll bed and pop top roof which can sleep up to 4 adults! George seats 5 and comes with all the mod cons, including air con (during travel), new pioneer stereo with Apple car play and Android Connect, he is a 6 gear manual diesel with low mileage (69,000). The back seats come with 2, 3 point harnesses (the chairs have no isofix but we can provide a group 1-3 car seat which is secured via the seatbelts for no charge). When you come to collect George you can even leave your car on our drive until your return if needed. The camper conversion comes with: - 240v hook up including long lead - 50l fridge with freezer compartment - 2 burner hob and sink (with electric pump) - water containers for both fresh and waste water - large leisure battery with 160w solar panel allowing our camper to go completely off grid for weeks at a time as needed - comfy rock and roll bed at the bottom (sleeps 2 adults) - Skyline Scenic Pop-Top roof with fully opening marine grade canvas sides. These can be folded away to give a full panoramic view from the roof. 2.5cm mattress and bedding included which can sleep 2 adults. - double front cab seat which rotates - moveable table for the living area - lots of storage - 2 usb slots - 2 240v plug sockets (can be used when on hook up) - led lights - All windows in the rear are privacy glass and include black out thermal blinds, including external wrap around thermal blinds for the front cab - plug in fan heater (can be used while on hook up) - SAFETY: carbon monoxide alarm, fire extinguisher and fire blanket We provide all the camping essentials to get you started on your adventure, reducing all the stress and planning for your time away! We include: - linen and pillows for both the rock and roll bed and pop top - 2 x camping chairs (one of them is a super comfy moon chair) - Tarpaulin for use as an awning for shade or protection from the rain - Double gas burner (inc. gas) for use if wanted to cook outside al fresco style! - large foldaway table and cover for outdoor use as well as a smaller aluminium table which can be used to cook on with the portable double burner - bbq/fire pit - Kettle, saucepan, wok, frying pan, griddle, plates, bowls, cups, mugs, cutlery, bottle opener, cooking utensils including chopping boards, washing up bowl, washing up liquid and cleaning clothes (including tea towel) - Tea and coffee included! Pickup location is walking distance from Chichester train station and just minutes away from The Witterings beaches and the South Downs and New Forest National Parks. George is perfectly located for your next camping adventure! The ferry to Isle of Wight is also just 20 minutes away in Portsmouth! With the Chichester Canal, Wittering beaches and great spots such as Emsworth and the estuary so close, it’s a paddle boarder and kayakers dream! We can rent out both of these for a small daily fee of £25 for the paddleboard and £10 for the 2 person kayak (including all pumps life jackets, dry bags etc). So, what do you need to bring? Just yourself, clothes, food and a towel! Alongside a sense of adventure of course! A full inventory and vehicle inspection will be carried out when you collect the vehicle and when you return, any damage or missing items will be deducted from your deposit Any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch! We had the best time with George last weekend. Communication with Mike was very easy and he took time to show me how everything worked - it was all very simple. The van was in immaculate condition and very well equipped with bedding, chair, table, cooking stuff, cutlery, crockery, basics like salt and pepper, washing up stuff, and even a two-man tent to store our stuff in. This was our first ever campervan trip and the bar has been set very high!
